We are aware that local water sources are intended for various types of use – environmental, economic, and social. Therefore, we manage the respective permits with full respect for the communities' right to benefit from such uses, and we seek to minimize the impact we may have on them.
Our water management practices and standards are framed within the guidelines of our parent company and the environmental guidelines of the ICMM, aiming to use water resources efficiently. Reusing contact water, minimizing the use of fresh water, and controlling sediments have become strategic and responsible practices in our water impact management.
